Having grown up on the Treasure Coast, I've been fortunate to experience the incredible natural beauty and strong sense of community that make this area so special. These waters, neighborhoods, and natural spaces helped shape who I am, and they're worth protecting for future generations.

As a young person, I'm not just thinking about today, I'm thinking about the future. I want to build my life here, raise my future children here, and be proud to call this community home. I want Stuart to remain a place where families can thrive, where our neighborhoods feel connected, and where the qualities that make this city special are preserved.

I want our waterways to be clean and healthy, not something we worry about before taking a swim. No one should have to question whether the water is safe for their family to enjoy. Protecting our rivers, lagoons, beaches, and natural spaces isn't just about preserving what we have today, it's about ensuring future generations can enjoy them too.

I also believe we have a responsibility to protect the wildlife that makes this area so unique. The animals that depend on our waters, wetlands, and natural habitats cannot speak for themselves. It is our duty to be their voice and ensure they continue to thrive for generations to come.

But protecting paradise means more than protecting our environment. It means protecting our community. Every resident deserves to feel heard, valued, and included in the decisions that shape our city. Too many people feel ignored or left out of the conversation, and I believe that must change.
